Myth & Mutt was forged from two lifelong passions: a love for the epic tales of mythology and an unbreakable bond with the rescue dogs who share our home. Our name says it all.

The "Mutt": The Heart of Our Story

The "Mutt" in our name is the soul of our brand. It’s a tribute to the mixed-breed rescues who are not just pets, but family. It’s for Kratos, our 15-year-old senior, named for the God of War because when we first brought him home, he was a fighter who trusted no one but us. He was ready to battle the world.

And it’s in loving memory of Athena. She was the opposite of Kratos—a lover, not a fighter. She adored every person and animal she met, embodying a gentle spirit that balanced his warrior soul. Losing her to cancer at 14 was devastating, and it lit a fire in us. It made us realize that time is the most precious thing we have, especially with our seniors.

This entire brand was born from a single, driving promise: to build a life where we can spend every possible moment with our old man, Kratos, honoring the time we have left.

The "Myth": The Soul of Our Designs

The "Myth" is our creative inspiration. It’s our love for the legends, gods, and histories that shape our world—from the pantheons of the Greeks and Romans to the powerful stories of the Aztecs and Mayans. These tales of heroes, creatures, and magic fuel our designs, allowing us to create something more than just clothing; we create wearable stories.

The Craft: More Than Just a Shirt

We’ve always been obsessed with fashion, especially the feel of a perfect shirt. That’s why we refuse to settle for anything less than exceptional. Our passion is for high-quality, comfortable, and durable apparel.

This led us to our favorite material: Bamboo.

Myth & Mutt is more than a business; it’s our purpose. As we grow, we are dedicating ourselves to giving back to the community that gave us everything.

We are committed to donating shirts, bandanas, and supplies to animal shelters, with a special focus on the dogs who are often overlooked: Senior Dogs. Inspired by our own seniors, we want to help make the golden years of shelter dogs as comfortable, warm, and dignified as possible.
